As a professional service affiliate to the Sentara MJH laboratory, we are also committed to actively supporting the mission of the Sentara MJH laboratory and hospital.

Our Affiliation

Charlottesville Pathology Associates is affiliated with Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA. CPA provides professional pathology services and directorship to Martha Jefferson Hospital’s clinical and anatomic pathology laboratory.

The pathologists serve on the breast cancer, rectal cancer, and cancer committees at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital.   They play an active role on these committees that continue the Cancer accreditation program at SMJH.

Lab Organization

The Martha Jefferson Laboratory is organized to assure that the laboratory is managed with care, experience, and attention. The pathologists of Charlottesville Pathology Associates work closely with the lab management to make certain that the laboratory is staffed with the most qualified technicians and that the processes are the most efficient and effective.
